Zope Book Development Signup

Zope Book signup page.

The next release of the Zope Book will be the "2.7 Edition". It is currently hosted at http://www.plope.com/Books/2_7Edition . It has no timeframe yet. If you want to sign up to help, please send email to chrism@plope.com .

The plan should be for people to:

  • take ownership of a chapter or two
  • address all the comments in the chapter and get rid of comments in places you've addressed.
  • update any material that is wrong wrt to differences between 2.6 and 2.7.

The "prize" for taking ownership and updating two complete chapters is your name as a coauthor on the front page (as before ;-).

Note that as an author you can use cadaver or WebDrive or WebFolders or KDE DAV or whatever to get to the Zope Book on plope.com via the DAV source por, e.g. dav://plope.com:11980/newplone/Books/2_7Edition or webdav://plope.com:11980/newplone/Books/2_7Edition or "open http://plope.com:11980/newplone/Books/2_7Edition as a Web Folder".
