Zopecast #3 (The Zope.org Cast)

Andrew Sawyers and Zac Bir -- Zope Corporation software developers -- join Chris and Tres for another noisy Zopecast episode.

In this Zopecast episode, which is long (about an hour), Andrew, Zac, Tres, and Chris talk about Zope.org, consulting practices, new Zope/CMF releases, upcoming conferences, ZODB conflict errors. Sorry about all the background noise. Please try to use the torrent links to save us some bandwidth if you have the patience.

Cigarettes and Beer!

I heard a lot of beers being opened and cigarettes being lit. Awesome!

I miss you guys. I could go for a feta burger and beer at o'briens or whatever that place was... *sigh*.

Cool. I always look forward to a new Zopecast. Keep up the great work. I seriously considering specialising in Zope/Plone and becoming one of those regular conference attendees.

zope.org

comments on the zope.org "topic":

- newnew zope.org [http://mail.zope.org/pipermail/zope-web/2005-February/003550.html] what's the current status?
- add boxes? would adding more boxes (zeo clients) help? or is it more about (good or bad) contents?
- andrew (i think) wanted something like webrings, but with rss. planetzope.org does that already and is where i usually go for news/updates.
- i would think upgrading to the latest zope/plone as you guys mentioned would really help zope.org

just my 2 cents

oh, and there's no conclusion to the zope.org opic. what's next? how can we help?

the shane skit was funny :))

i think many of us miss him too. glad he has not abandoned zope.

Good Show

Chris, thanks for the good work. I enjoyed listening to the Zope Cast. It is little bit longer (one hour) covering many interesting topics. It will be nice to have Zope Casts with shorter duration (may be 20 minutes) so that everybody could download and enjoy listening to them.
Keep up the good work.
