  • Which OS? ZC develops mostly on I386 Linux. Everything else is an afterthought, usually.
  • Intel CPUs.
  • How much RAM? 1 GB on Zope and up to 4 GB on Squid servers. More is never enough.
  • Do multiple processors help? Yes, although making use of them can make deployment more complicated.
